Job Description:

Jayar Components Ltd, established in 1976, is the leading independent supplier of quality car parts, workshop consumables, and garage tools & equipment in Southeast England.

We are seeking an experienced maintenance person to manage our branches in Dorset and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and proven experience in maintenance work.

Main duties include:

  • Performing daily maintenance and repairs, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, tiling, and decorating tasks.
  • Overseeing regular building upkeep.
  • Coordinating with senior managers, vendors, and contractors for larger repairs and renovations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.

Skills required:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or Maintenance Person.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent planning skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Potential work at branches outside Dorset; accommodation will be provided.

A company van with a fuel card is provided for work use only.
