My client is a leading supplier of construction equipment, with a brand recognised across the world. From their site in Peterborough, they service and prepare OEM products across a wide area, either in the depot or at the customer’s site. With full training provided on complex products and systems, they are renowned for their development and support of staff and customer service.

Role Overview

This customer-facing role involves machine diagnostics, servicing and repairs to a wide range of equipment at customer sites. You will deliver a professional, world-class service while working independently across the territory and liaising with manufacturers and contractors where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair a wide range of construction equipment
  • Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic system repair on hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems and working on construction machinery or equivalent
  • Attend relevant technical training
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours when required

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2, 3 or equivalent and have experience in the construction, HGV or agriculture heavy plant machinery sectors including servicing and maintenance
  • Portfolio of certification/achievements required
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Strong experience with hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and control systems
  • Ability to work independently in a remote role
