My client is at the forefront of design innovation with sustainability, producing world-class plastic thermoformed packaging solutions for a wide range of markets and industries.
We are looking for a CNC Setter to assist in the manufacture/modification of production tooling and tooling accessories, using our 3-axis CNC milling machinery. This involves preparing and setting up the aluminium blanks, selecting the appropriate CNC programs and monitoring the progress.
In addition to this, you would be responsible for ensuring that the CNC machines are adequately cleaned, serviced and maintained.
While time-served or CNC milling qualifications are preferred, this role would suit someone in a similar engineering discipline. Other practical engineering skills would also be advantageous to assist in tooling assembly and tooling preparation and repairs.
