My client are an ambitious and highly regarded agricultural machinery business based in Yorkshire, but with a customer base across the UK.
With a wide range of new machinery from established OEM\’s, and a portfolio of used machinery in the field, this role will provide the successful candidate with a great opportunity to use their skills on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Attending breakdowns within the territory
Machinery fault finding on site and resolving the problem in a timely manner
Overhauls and repairs to machinery within the workshop
Reporting faults to relevant parties
Carrying out the service and maintenance of agricultural machinery
Replacing parts and working closely with the Parts Department to ensure delivery
Completing job cards and warranty / maintenance paperwork to a high standard
QualificationsIdeally qualified to an NVQ/C-G Level 2 or 3 in Agricultural Engineering, or a time served Apprentice, you will have a wide range of mechanical and electrical technical skills used in the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery. Experience in a field or customer facing role is essential, with good communication and problem solving skills definitely preferred.
