The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic global business as an HR Operations Assistant within our close-knit London-based HR team. This handsâon role provides the chance to gain valuable exposure to a wide range of HR operational tasks across the entire employee life cycle, with a strong focus on benefits administration.
We are seeking a selfâmotivated, positive, and professional individual who understands the sensitive and confidential nature of HR. Whilst we are not expecting significant industry experience at this graduate level, it would be advantageous if you possess a relevant degree and/or internship experience in an HR team and be either CIPD qualified or working towards your qualification. This is a 5âdays fullâtime in office position that is conveniently located within walking distance of Victoria train and bus stations (less than 5 minutes).
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting employees with first line queries relating to payroll, benefits, absence etc.
- Supporting the HR team with employee on/offboarding administration for global and local teams, e.g. visa administration, background screenings etc.
- Producing HR documentation, including contracts of employment, leaver letters, references etc.
- Maintenance of Javelin's HR system (Workday) and report creation
- Assist with global monthly payroll processes with support of HR team members
- Working with benefits providers to administer benefits for our global workforce
- Recruitment coordination and administration
- Updating and improving HR documentation, processes and procedures
- Support the coâordination of the annual performance review process
- General ad hoc administrative HR tasks as they arise.
Qualifications
- Degree educated in a relevant subject area
- CIPD qualified or working towards a qualification is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent MS Office Skills, including Excel and Outlook
- Positive team player who can work effectively independently but also aware of when to request guidance from the team
- Entry level previous experience (including internships) in an HR Assistant/Administrator role beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate strong judgement around data sensitivity and general confidentiality
- Curiosity and determination to improve systems and processes
- Excellent attention to detail.
