Role Overview:
To ensure the timely and accurate production of all data. Ensuring all service level agreements are met and improved where possible.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Live Production system
-
Oversee the complete ETL (extract Transform Load) process

Reporting any failures / issues / defects via reporting tool
-
Review and keep documentation up to date
-
Understanding processes (data flow)
-
SQL Querying the databases to see the changes made and comparing results
-
Production of several database types for various platforms.

Maintenance of databases
-
Testing and QA of all databases and data feeds
-
Database backups and housekeeping
-
UAT of production software upgrades
-
UAT of schema changes in production
Key Requirements:

Microsoft Edge / Google Chrome
-
Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel, word)
-
Microsoft SQL Server or SQLBase
-
Knowledge of networks, FTP tools
-
Can demonstrate attention to detail and strong completion skills
-
Able to prioritise workloads and respond to tight deadlines
-
Willing to take responsibility for ensuring delivery of a quality service
