A leading international financial services business is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its EMEA finance team in London. This is a broad in‐house tax role offering exposure to complex international tax matters across multiple entities within a fast‐paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage UK corporation tax compliance, filings, and related reporting obligations
- Support quarterly and annual tax reporting under US GAAP across EMEA entities
- Oversee international tax matters including transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
- Prepare tax provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries while supporting audits and tax authority queries
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisers on tax planning, regulatory, and business initiatives
- Monitor legislative developments and contribute to process improvements across the tax function
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in corporate tax gained in practice and in industry
- Strong understanding of UK corporation tax and tax accounting principles
- Exposure to multinational or international tax environments preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP tax reporting advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment
