A Payroll Manager is required to work for a leading brand based in Central London with the expectations of 1 day in office and the rest working from home. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, you will be operating as the number two in payroll, overseeing a strong team to process UK and EMEA. A key part of this role will be coaching the team. This is a 15 month contract opportunity to work for a large, globally recognised brand, this is a key role as the business is now looking to strengthen its internal processes to help facilitate further growth globally.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management and development of a small team of a highly driven payroll team
  • Supervising workloads to ensure work is carried out in order of business requirements
  • Overseeing the payroll for approximately 1300 employees with a mix of salary and hourly payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory payments and deadlines, including P11Ds, PSA, and international obligations
  • Manage bonus payment processes and ensuring strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide payroll reporting and ad hoc support to the business

The successful candidate will have experience:

  • Working as a supervisor/manager within a global business where you have overseen payroll for 1000+ employees
  • Experience with ADP, Oracle, or Kronos
  • Experience managing a team of Payroll Clerks and will have proven experience in developing your team
  • Experience working in the consumer industry is beneficial but not essential

You will be proactive in nature, be a natural leader, and have excellent communication skills to be able to succeed in this role.
