Job Description
A PE backed; multi-site buy and build business is looking to hire a FP&A on a permanent basis, based in their Paddington Head office (3 days in the office). This is an opportunity to work for a scale up brand that is highly acquisitive, they currently operate at £25 million across circa 20 sites with plans to grow to £75 million.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be operating as part of the senior finance team and help shape the financial strategy of the business. This is a hands on and initially challenging role where you will be establishing new dashboard reporting models, implementing automated processes, creating reporting packs for the C-suite team and assisting in the acquisitions and mergers for the company.
- Reviewing existing processes and implementing new Power BI dashboards
- Creating automated financial models to spot trends in the business and potential ventures
- Leading on the budgeting and forecasting for the business
- Creating the reporting packs for the senior team, adding commentary and analysis on the financials
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders and non-financial stakeholders in the business
- Working with the CFO on commercial insights and driving the business strategy forward from a finance perspective
- Opportunities to mentor and manage will become available in the future
Skill set required:
- Previous FP&A experience is essential
- Proven experience building dashboards on Power BI
- Advanced Excel skills is essential
- Capability to work autonomously and drive process improvement / automations
- Multi-site experience desirable but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
