A globally recognised consumer brand is seeking a Senior Claims Manager to join its Global Insurance Team on a permanent basis, based at their London Headquarters. This is an opportunity for an experienced claims professional to take ownership of a high-profile, truly global claims portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Global Insurance, the role is responsible for the smooth running of all Group companies' claims globally, working closely with Regional Insurance Teams and global insurance & risk management partners including brokers, insurers and the group's captive manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Global ownership of all insured claims, spanning Property Damage/Business Interruption, General Liability, Marine Cargo, Terrorism and Cyber
- Creating clear guidelines for claims reporting and embedding the Origami claims platform across the Group
- Liaising with regional and local markets to ensure 100% claims reporting through to closure
- Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of claims data across internal systems and Insurers' databases
- Engaging directly with Insurance carriers to improve data quality and progress legacy claims to swift closure
- Identifying, monitoring and progressing subrogation and recovery opportunities
- Driving process improvement across the global insurance remit
Skill set required:
- 5+ years' insurance-related experience, gained from an inhouse, loss adjustors or brokers
- Experience working on global claims
- Experience across Property, Cargo or General Liability insurance
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across global markets as well as external providers
- Strong written communication skills
- French as a second language advantageous but not essential
- Able to work autonomously and thrive in an agile environment
