An Accounts Payable Manager is required to work for a much-loved, retail brand based in West London, with the expectation of three days in the office with flexibility.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function for a business investing heavily in its future including store expansion and process improvements.
Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will lead a small team operating across both stock and non-stock AP activity and driving automation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing end-to-end invoice processing for both stock and non-stock suppliers
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team
- Setting clear KPIs and managing workload and capacity planning
- Managing the weekly supplier payment process and employee expense processing
- Owning the GRNI account, including daily review of aged items
- Managing month-end AP close, control account and GRNI reconciliations
- Providing weekly supplier payment forecasts to support daily cashflow, and supporting internal/external audits
The successful candidate will have experience:
- Working in an Accounts Payable leadership having managed a team of 2+
- Working with both stock and non-stock suppliers; experience working in an environment of 2000+ monthly invoices
- Experience within a products-based environment
- Managing end-to-end AP processes including payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations and GRNI
- Experience with a large ERP such as Dynamics or SAP
- Strong Excel skills, including pivots, VLOOKUPs and data manipulation
