JasperRose are delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised luxury retail brand to appoint a Financial Accountant to their London-based finance team. With a strong international footprint across ecommerce, owned stores, and wholesale the business is in an exciting phase of continued international growth.
This is a hands-on role in a collaborative team, reporting to the Head of Finance. The position is primarily focused on Accounts Payable, with support across Accounts Receivable as shared by the team. You’ll also get involved in reconciliations, general ledger work and wider finance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase, expense, inventory and overhead invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting the AR function including monitoring inbox billing, posting and allocating incoming payments, and chasing outstanding balances
- Reconciling the AR ledger and producing reporting for month-on-month movements
- Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting general ledger entries and journals as required
- Supporting with ad hoc finance duties and analysis
- Contributing to team projects including process automation and sustainability reporting
About You
- Strong accounting foundation with previous accounts experience
- Comfortable being hands-on across AP, AR, reconciliations and GL
- Confident Excel user
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- DTC retail experience advantageous but not essential
- Curious and improvement-minded, with a willingness to question processes and bring in change
