This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a multi-£b turnover global e-commerce and retail brand with a growing presence across international markets. Based in Central London (4 days in the office), this is a chance to work at the heart of a business that is transforming its sector through innovation and scale.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in statutory and management reporting, group consolidations, and month-end close activities, while supporting wider financial controls and ad hoc projects. You will also collaborate closely with finance teams across multiple international regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global industry leader with ambitious international growth plans. Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of statutory accounts and support with annual audit requirements
- Month-end close including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist with group reporting under IFRS and local GAAP
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles
- Maintain and improve financial controls and ensure compliance with group policies
- Liaise with international finance teams to align reporting and processes
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), ideally Big4/Top6
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, statutory reporting, consolidations)
- Experience in a large, complex, international business (multi-£b turnover)
- Hands-on month-end close and group consolidation experience
- Advanced Excel; ERP experience (SAP or similar) desirable
- Confident communicator able to work with senior stakeholders across global teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
