The main purpose of this role is to build a driver-based model to report on the performance of the net working capital across the group. The role has extensive stakeholder engagement, you will work closely with the CFO and present to key stakeholders across the business. NWC performance across GroupM UK as well as help drive improvement.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Build and maintain a finance model based on customer and supplier assumptions that impact the net working capital
- Working with key stakeholders to define key metrics and set reporting formats
- Conduct monthly performance reviews and prepare summaries and presentations for the CFO
- Business partner with agency teams, EMEA teams and the WPP finance team to review net working capital performance
- Identify performance issues, implement improvement actions, and collaborate with teams to address key client impacts on business revenue
Required skill set:
- Must be a qualified accountant
- 3+ years industry experience ideally within the media sector
- Experience with building financial models
- Strong communication skills with experience of engaging and working with senior stakeholders
- Experience working for a larger, more complex business
