An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a booming beauty brand in the heart of the West End in Central London. This role sits within a small finance team and is the right hand to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for transactional finance and month-end duties with the opportunity to progress rapidly into management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of purchase ledger, including processing invoices, liaising with suppliers and assisting with payment runs
- Management of sales ledger, including raising sales invoices, taking payments and credit control
- Resolving queries and investigating discrepancies
- Responsibility for month-end, including accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assisting (with eventual responsibility) in balance sheet reconciliations
- Ad-hoc project reports, tasks and financial duties
Key Requirements:
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- Strong experience of transactional finance
- Exposure to month-end would be beneficial
