An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a booming beauty brand in the heart of the West End in Central London. This role sits within a small finance team and is the right hand to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for transactional finance, month end duties with the opportunity to progress rapidly into management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of purchase ledger including processing invoices, liaising with suppliers and assisting with the payment runs
- Management of sales ledger including raising sales invoices, taking payments and credit control
- Resolving queries and investigating discrepancies
- Responsibility for the month end including accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assisting (with eventual responsibility) of balance sheet reconciliations
- Adhoc project reports, tasks and financial duties
Key Requirements:
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- Strong experience of transactional finance
- Exposure to month end would be beneficial
