JasperRose are partnering with a leading British Media Company, this company has created some of the world\’s most recognisable shows and has a vast array of revenue streams. Due to a restructure and an array of projects to be involved in they are looking for an RTR Accountant to join this role in Manchester (2 days in the office) on a permanent basis.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the RTR Manager, you will be an integral member in the Finance team in a highly progressive environment. Delivering general ledger account reconciliations and verifying that all transactions have been recorded correctly in the Trial Balance. This company operate with a people first approach for all that they do and place emphasis with collaboration with frequent socials and continuous development.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out monthly revenue and cost of sales reconciliations
- Perform P&L and balance sheet postings and reconciliations
- Involved with accurate accounting activities from daily to yearly
- Performing balance sheet tracking and investigations
- Partnering with wider finance teams to resolve discrepancies
- Help shape automation to improve efficiencies and build robust processes across reconciliations
The successful candidate will be an active studier with extensive experience with reconciliations/RTR. Experience with driving efficiencies and ability to work accurately alongside deadlines is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle or large system ERP would be advantageous. Softer skills required would include being able to communicate with non-finance stakeholders, being proactive in nature with a pragmatic approach and the ability to build relationships with clients.
