The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient warehousing operations within the business, ensuring we have cover for our operations 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Lead and develop an effective warehouse strategy to achieve our short, medium, and long-term goals whilst driving operational performance and developing strong relationships both internally and externally.

Full responsibility for day-to-day management of the warehouse teams.

  • Full Warehouse KPI responsibility
  • Full responsibility for Issue resolution, putting solutions in place, driving a continuous improvement culture, improving our warehouse processes, and effectively communicating changes to the warehouse teams and wider business
  • Responsibility for making sure inventory is taken to ascertain correct stock balances, damages, and expiries
  • Manage all daily dispatch activities including stock rotation, consolidation, order allocation, picking, and loading
  • Ensure on-time, full, and accurate shipments to customers by managing risks to minimise impact on customer deliveries
  • Coordinate with transport providers and internal teams to schedule collections and deliveries
  • Identify, develop, and mentor talent across the business that creates a pipeline of successors

Previous experience of managing a warehouse team with more than 20+ employees indirectly before – Essential.

A logistic, distribution and supply chain background – Essential.

Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including Excel – Essential.

Worked in a food manufacturing environment previously – Advantageous.

Knowledge and experience of using Sage 200, Warehouse Management systems or similar - Advantageous.

Knowledge of project management, continuous improvement, and lean techniques - Advantageous.
