About the Role - This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference - supporting families with children aged 0 - 19, with a focus on early years (under 5s). You’ll empower parents through practical guidance, helping improve outcomes in child development, school readiness, wellbeing, and family life.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passionate about supporting children and families
- Skilled in building relationships with vulnerable individuals
- Confident delivering both 1:1 support and group sessions
- Knowledgeable about child development, parenting strategies, and safeguarding
- Organised, proactive, and a strong team player
You’ll play a key role in delivering impactful family support by:
Providing one-to-one and group-based parenting support, including home visits and community sessions
Delivering evidence-based parenting programmes and leading engaging drop-in sessions. Supporting families with key challenges such as:
Challenges in child development, school readiness, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
Working with partner agencies to deliver tailored, multi-agency support
Engaging vulnerable families, including those known to social care, teenage parents, care leavers, and those in high-need areas
