Salary: ÂŁ26.50* (*ÂŁ26.77 from 01.04.2026)

Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7am-7pm, 3-4 days a week to include alternate weekends)

Location: St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home, Main Street, Ewerby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 9PL

About St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home:

St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities as Deputy Manager - Clinical:

  • Working alongside our Home Manager, you will achieve Jasmine’s mission in our home, by ensuring all our residents are provided with the highest standards of care, and doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team.
  • You will oversee that the care plans for our residential residents are completed within the timescales required by the company policy and ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a calendar month.
  • You will ensure all our team members are fully competent with medication such as completing weekly audits and requesting medication in plenty of time.
  • Medication handling must always be carried out correctly such as returning old medication to the pharmacy each month and booking it in on a timely basis.

Role Requirements as Deputy Manager - Clinical:

  • Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in residential/nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia.
  • Conducting effective person centred One to Ones.
  • Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Medicine Management.
  • Ability to provide high standards of care and work under pressure.
  • Time management and flexibility with working hours.
  • Willingness to progress career.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
