Salary: £15.61ph plus incentives.

Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7.30am-7.45pm, 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends).

Location: Orchard Court Care Home, Brigg, DN20 8DL.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living.
  • Promote residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect; support their physical and emotional wellbeing and contribute to shift handovers.
  • Lead shifts to ensure high standards are maintained and team members feel supported.
  • Complete daily medication rounds and documentation consistently and accurately, ensuring medication audits are error‑free.
  • Promote good practice in all aspects of care, challenge poor practice, facilitate one‑to‑ones for all care and support team members every two months, and investigate complaints and concerns as directed by the Home Manager.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ/Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care).
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person‑Centred Care Planning.
  • Knowledge of abuse prevention, recognition of abuse signs, and procedures for allegations.
  • Reside within 30 minutes of the home.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
