About St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home:
St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise activities.
- Good time management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic.
- Be an Ambassador for the Company both inside and outside of the home.
- Contribute to our residents' well‑being through thoughtful, personalised activities.
- Join our community of Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinators at Jasmine to share successful ideas and activities.
- Provide support for our residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges.
- Ensure the activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook each week.
- Encourage and involve team members, relatives and friends in the home's activities.
Role Requirements:
- At least two years' relevant experience as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator providing activities in a care home or similar environment.
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 In Health & Social Care or Activities; or must agree to contractually sign up to work towards one.
- Must be able to work 35 hours minimum per week including 2 weekend days every four weeks.
- Live within 20 minutes of the Home.
