Salary: £12.67 per hour, plus incentives (£13.05 per hour from 01.04.2026)

Hours: Part Time Permanent Contract – 8am to 4pm (scope for flexibility on hours); minimum 2–3 shifts per week; will include weekend working

About Oxendon House:

Oxendon House is located in the quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles south of Market Harborough). The home is set around an attractive country house, which has been extended in keeping with its character. The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.

Role Responsibilities for Housekeeping Assistant:

  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the Home.
  • Responsible for wash, dry, iron, and laundry, including returning clothing to resident bedrooms.
  • Keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required, including Infection Control, Manual Handling and Health & Safety.
  • Support the team in the smooth running of housekeeping shifts.
  • Ensure the Housekeeper is kept fully informed of all major developments (e.g., team issues, complaints, inspections).
  • Be aware of Jasmine Healthcare’s philosophy and contribute ideas to improve the standard of care provided.
