Salary: £12.80ph Plus incentives

Location: Rushden, NN10 0SN

Hours: Part Time: 7pm-7am (2 nights a week to include alternate weekends)

Employer: Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, owned by Jasmine Healthcare

Responsibilities

• You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
• You will be responsible for promoting our resident\’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
• You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
• A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care
• Live within 30 minutes of the Home

Preferred Requirements

• One year\’s experience of working in a residential or nursing home
• Level 3 Health & Social Care or above

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group

Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home\’s architecture is modern regency style, providing homeliness while offering modern living accommodation. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care, for 48 residents.
