Salary: £12.80ph plus incentives (£11.80ph for 18-21 year olds)

Hours: Part Time or Full Time available (7.30am-7.30pm, 2-4 days a week to include alternate weekends)

Location: Avenue House Nursing and Care Home, Rushden, NN10 0SN

About Avenue House Nursing And Care Home

Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home’s architecture is modern regency style, which provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care for 48 residents.

Role Responsibilities

• You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• You’ll be responsible for promoting our residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements

• Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
• Reside 20 minutes or less near to the care home.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• A caring and nurturing attitude.
• A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
• Time management and organisational skills.
