Production / Warehouse Lead

Location: Slough

Salary: 35,000 to 40,000

Role Type: 9 month Fixed Term Contract (Permanent potential)

An opportunity has opened for a Production / Warehouse Lead to join a manufacturing company based in Slough. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment ideally for a FMCG company. You will be taking a supervisory / leader position and assisting with the management of a growing team of operatives.

The role is initially a 9 month fixed term contract but there is a view to potentially go permanent.

Production / Warehouse Lead Key Skills

• Experience working in a pick and pack warehouse / fulfilment environment
• Experience having lead teams or a background in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of production environments
• Must have order fulfilment experience
• Background in FMCG or Food Manufacturing would be ideal
• Any Quality or QMS experience would be a bonus
• H&S certification is desirable

Production / Warehouse Lead Responsibilities

• Lead and assist a team of operatives and helping with admin tasks
• Ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time
• Keeping the warehouse running smoothly and safely
• Monitor quality checks to ensure items are dispatched to the highest quality
• Keeping Health and Safety to the highest standard
• Liaising with management to work on any process improvements
