An opportunity has opened for a Senior CNC Programmer to join a manufacturing company in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have excellent CNC programming experience including 5-axis CNC milling in highly regulated industries. You will also have experience with HyperMILL for the CAD / CAM programming software.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5PM with overtime available if that’s what you’re looking for.
Key Skills:- Excellent experience in CNC programming
- HyperMILL software experience
- 5-axis CNC milling process experience
- Able to interpret CAD models
- Experience in anything like aerospace, automotive or similar would be beneficial
- Heidenhain control experience would be a bonus
- Develop, simulate and send programs using HyperMILL
- Interpreting CAD drawings
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with systems
- Verifying programs are in working order
- Inspect and quality check components
- Working on 5-axis CNC machines
