Multiskilled Technician

Location: Ipswich

Salary: 32,000 to 35,000

An opportunity has opened for a Multiskilled Technician to join an Engineering company based in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have a mixture of Electrical and Mechanical skills and will have experience repairing, and re-fitting motors, pumps and fan systems.

The role is primarily onsite in Ipswich with occasional travel to customer sites for emergency breakdowns.

Multiskilled Technician Key Skills:

  • Mechanical and Electrical background
  • Experience of repairs, fitting and re-build of electromechanical products
  • Experience working on pumps, motors or fans
  • Any assembly and build experience a bonus

  • Assisting the engineering team, repairing any fault products
  • Providing troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics
  • Providing any fitting required and refits
  • Attending emergency breakdowns calls at customer sites
