Location: London (and surrounding areas)

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

Working Pattern: 3 days onsite (sites in and around London), 2 days WFH

An opportunity has opened for an M&E Project Engineer to join a building services company with most of the work located in the London area. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of building regulations for commercial installations and have an excellent background in project engineering or management.

You will also have a mixture of mechanical and electrical skills and an understanding of HVAC, lighting and security design.

The role will involve visiting sites in the London area (including Kent, Sussex etc) for 3 days a week, with the other 2 days being remote working. They also provide a company car or offer the option to expense the amount against your current transport.

M&E Project Engineer Key Skills:
  • Background working within MEP, Building Services or similar
  • Mechanical and Electrical engineering experience
  • Excellent understanding of building regulations including BS standards
  • Project engineering / management experience from concept to completion
  • Commercial industry background
  • Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical designs (Revit, AutoCAD)
  • Full UK Driving License is essential
  • Excellent communication to liaise with engineering, customers and other project engineers
M&E Project Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Manage and assist building services M&E projects from concept through to completion
  • Plan, monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered on time
  • Ensure installations meet building regulations including BS EN standards
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, designers to ensure requirements are met
  • Reading designs and discussing any potential changes required
  • Ensuring H&S standards are met at all times
  • Visiting sites in the South East to ensure projects are running smoothly
