Hardware Design Engineer Location: Farnborough Salary: £55,000 to £62,000 Industry: Electronics, Batteries, Aerospace/Defence An opportunity has opened for a Hardware Design Engineer to join an electronics and manufacturing company based in Farnborough. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years experience within Electronics Hardware design and testing. You will also be required to pass security clearance so will need to be eligible for this. The company are a mid-sized company with an excellent team of engineers from hardware engineers to embedded software engineers and technicians. You will be able to work on projects from start to finish and have a good opportunity for growth in the future. Hardware Design Engineer Key Skills: * Experienced Electronics Design Engineer – Hardware biased * Analogue and Digital Electronics * Understanding of EMC compliance * Electronics testing experience * Background working with microprocessors * Debugging and fault finding experience * Any experience of batteries, DC-DC systems would be a bonus * Able to pass security clearance Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities: * Working with a team of electronics engineers, designing, testing, debugging and prototyping products for various industries * Working on microprocessor based systems as well as DC-DC and power electronics systems * Being involved in the full product development lifecycle including prototyping * Ensuring designs meet UK and EU standards * Liaising with Embedded Software Engineers and the technicians to ensure products are completed to the company’s standards If you could be interested in finding out more about the role as an Hardware Design Engineer, please apply with your latest CV
