An opportunity has opened for an Electronics Design Engineer to join an engineering and manufacturing company based in Farnborough. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years experience within Electronics Hardware design and testing. You will also be required to pass security clearance so will need to be eligible for this.
The company are a mid-sized company with an excellent team of engineers from hardware engineers to embedded software engineers and technicians. You will be able to work on projects from start to finish and have a good opportunity for growth in the future.
Key Skills:
- Experienced Electronics Design Engineer – Hardware biased
- Analogue and Digital Electronics
- Understanding of EMC compliance
- Electronics testing experience
- Background working with microprocessors
- Debugging and fault finding experience
- Any experience of power electronics, DC-DC systems would be a bonus
- Able to pass security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Working with a team of hardware engineers, designing, testing, debugging and prototyping products for various industries
- Working on microprocessor based systems as well as DC-DC and power electronics systems
- Being involved in the full product development lifecycle including prototyping
- Ensuring designs meet UK and EU standards
- Liaising with Embedded Software Engineers and the technicians to ensure products are completed to the company’s standards
