An opportunity has opened for a Workshop Supervisor to join a construction company based in Derby. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Works / Workshop / Factory supervisor or similar and will have a background working in structural steel, heavy engineering or an industrial environment.
Key Skills:

- Experience in the structural industry or similar like heavy engineering / industrial
- Excellent working knowledge of fabrication and CNC processes
- Leadership skills and a background supervising 20+ people
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings
- Understanding of production processes and workflow
- Excellent operational skills
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a factory of around 40 people
- Ensuring processes are running smoothly over multiple departments
- Coordinate daily workflow to ensure targets are hit and schedules are met
- Overseeing the production flow from start to finish
- Liaising with the H&S Manager and Quality Manager
- Drive continuous improvement
- Act as the primary point of contact for operations along with the Works Manager
