Technical Manager

An opportunity has opened for a Technical Manager to join an Electronics and Electrical Lighting company based in Harlow. The ideal candidate will have experience within the lighting industry ideally for commercial projects and have experience of the full product development life cycle of LED or similar lighting.
Technical Manager Key Skills:
- Experience within the lighting industry DALI, LED or similar
- Experience as a Technical Manager, Design Manager, Product Manager or similar
- Knowledge of CAD Inventor, AutoCAD or InDesign ideally
- Any Dialux or Relux experience would be a bonus
- New Product development experience
- Excellent documentation and reporting experience
- Knowledge of industry standards
Technical Manager Responsibilities:
- Taking a lead role in the full product development life cycle
- Assisting with process and product improvement
- Reviewing and helping with CAD designs and layouts
- Exporting models to BIM
- Produce and update BOMs
- Design and analysis of LED lighting
- Ensuring products meet industry standards and are compliant
