An opportunity has opened for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a Building Services company based in South East London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Building Services or Public Health sector ideally with some project management and budgeting experience. You will also have used AutoCAD and Revit in your past as most designs will be in these packages.
The company offer a very generous holiday entitlement as well as other benefits. You will be working onsite and have to visit customer sites around London for surveys etc.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Key Skills:
- Extensive experience within Mechanical Design in the Building Services industry
- Experience of Public Health design, HVAC or similar
- Background working on high spec commercial projects is essential
- AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Any cost analysis, project management and budgeting experience would be a bonus
- Pre-contracts experience would be a bonus
- Site Surveying experience
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working with the Director on design projects from start to finish
- Analysing and adjusting public health and HVAC designs in AutoCAD and Revit
- Providing estimates of costs to customers
- Providing design and co-ordination of commercial projects
- Review tenders and provide costing and budget analysis
- Assist the design team to ensure the project is captured in line with the customers requirements
- Attend site surveys to organise the construction team
