An opportunity has opened for a Structural Engineer to join a construction and engineering company based in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will either be Chartered or nearly Chartered with 5+ years post-graduate experience. You will also be experienced within building structures with materials like masonry, timber, steel and/or reinforced concrete.

You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from concept to completion and working alongside architects and other Structural Engineers. If you aren't chartered yet, you will receive mentorship to achieve this. They offer 25 days holiday + bank holidays and hybrid working.

Key Skills:
  • Post-grad experience in Structural Engineering within building structures / construction
  • Experience with ideally a few of timber, masonry, steel, reinforced concrete
  • Chartered status or near chartered
  • Structural design experience
  • Background conducting calculation and analysis
  • Site surveying experience
  • Knowledge of UK design standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally Revit and BIM experience
Responsibilities:
  • Working with other structural engineers and architects on projects from start to finish
  • Designing, analysing and conducting calculations for building structures
  • Working on commercial and residential projects
  • Conducting site surveys and ensuring projects are running smoothly
  • Delivering designs and making amendments where needed
  • Carrying out inspections
