Electronics Design Engineer

Location: St. Austell, Cornwall

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

An opportunity has opened for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a manufacturing company based near St. Austell. The ideal candidate will have 2 or 3 years experience within an Electronics role with design experience and have good understanding of PCB Design.

The company are looking for someone who is primarily hardware focused but Firmware and Embedded Software experienced people would also be of interest. They are offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with Fridays being WFH.

Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:

• Experience as an Electronics Design Engineer
• PCB Design any software is fine
• Schematic capture and layout
• Analogue circuit design
• Fault finding, repairs and testing of electronic products
• Any Firmware, Embedded Software C, C++ experience would be a bonus

Electronics Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and testing new and existing electronic products for various industries
• PCB Design, schematic capture and layout
• Analogue and Digital circuit design
• Assisting with testing, fault finding and repairs
• Basic firmware coding ARM, IOT etc
• Very occasional travel to clients to present designs
