JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for improving operation accuracy by daily reporting, goal analysis and reconciliation of documents and customer and the company system discrepancies, improving operations efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Consolidation of documents of operations and transportation (booking, BL, pre-advices, loading confirmation)
- Manage import and export bookings according to booking log sheet and coordination with Customer Services team and JAS origin station, maintain routing guide
- Executive co-loader policy within group policy, review and measure the performance of co-loader
- Responsible for accurate hub billing and job costing
- Monitor cost leadership for cost of sales
- Rate analysis
- Monitor and secure allocations and operation efficiency
- Update and inform supervisors of issues of transportation to be solved for the origin offices or customer issues in terms of capacity planning
- Create reports of operations
- Ability to communicate openly and confidently
- Ability to influence and convince others in a way that results in acceptance and agreement
- Ability to shape conversations to ensure focus and understanding
- Capable of making informed judgments and generating practical, timely solutions
- Ability to find pragmatic solutions by using decision-making techniques

- Working knowledge of standard and accepted runner practices
- Years of experience: 2 in the same position
100% performed in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
