Senior UX Lead Architect – Holborn London

Our client is a leading international consultancy with offices around the world.

They are currently seeking a UX Design Lead Architect for their London office.

You should have experience as a design lead with a strong UX background, including expertise in Service Design and an interest in design strategy.

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on practitioner with a proactive attitude.

As a senior team member and design representative, your focus will be on people — clients, users/customers, team members, and colleagues — supporting and advocating for existing systems while critically improving them.

You will report to the Global Head of the XD Practice and Programme Delivery.

Experience

1. Senior designer with over 8 years of experience working with blue-chip clients.
2. Experience as a Senior UX Designer, Senior Product Designer, UX Architect, or Service Designer.
3. Knowledge of design processes, agile development, and lean UX.
4. Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
5. Proficiency in creating omnichannel, cross-platform, and cross-device solutions.
6. Experience designing enterprise-level, consumer-grade digital services and products.
7. Ability to define key metrics and evaluate project success.
8. Ability to work within strict deadlines.
9. Proven design track record and agency experience.
10. Design degree or equivalent qualification.

You will be involved in leading pitches, presentations, and supporting proposals, as well as creating project estimates and plans.

1. Provide leadership in challenging situations with clarity, tact, and diplomacy.
2. Ability to identify and communicate the commercial impact of design decisions.
3. Full command of the UX process and understanding of Service Design.
4. Skills in visual thinking, proof of concept, rapid prototyping, storyboarding, and technical aspects.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Ability to quickly produce wireframes in an iterative environment.
7. Proficiency in Sketch, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
8. Understanding of technology.

The salary for this role ranges from £65K to £80K plus benefits.
