Our client is an international software consultancy seeking to recruit a New Business Development Manager with 7-10 years of experience in sales and business development. You will be responsible for selling software solutions within the Product Software Engineering Services space, including areas such as Analytics, Cloud, Web Applications, Mobility, and R&D.
Must have prior experience selling to both Software Product companies (ISVs and platforms) and R&D sectors (Storage, Networking, Automotive, and Consumer Electronics). Should possess comprehensive expertise in all aspects of business development, from lead generation to closing deals. Responsible for coordinating sales efforts across a cross-functional team, engaging with CTOs and VP of Engineering.
Must have a solid understanding of the UK & European markets and ideally have the ability to bring clients with you. Requires a degree and at least the last 4-5 years of experience selling software solutions in the Product Engineering space. A strong track record in acquiring new customers, with excellent negotiation skills and advanced sales knowledge, is essential.
Comfortable working with executive management, articulating strategy, solutions, and services. Must have analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical, business, and legal issues to solve problems and execute action plans. Knowledge of market trends, industry participants, new technologies, and business models is required.
The client is based in Reading, UK, with some travel expected to meet clients across the UK and Europe.
