Our Client, a bank with offices in Central London, is looking to recruit a Network Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience. The Client is ideally looking for a candidate with Financial Services or Banking sector experience.
Technical/Functional skills:
- Proficient in common Windows operating systems: Windows 11, Windows Server 2019-2025, Redhat & Ubuntu Linux based Operating Systems
- Software proficiency: VMWare vSphere & vCenter v8.0 and above, Veeam Backup and Replication, Veeam Orchestrator and VeeamOne, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Endpoint Encryption, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Microsoft Office 365, Bloomberg FXT/eikons, Murex Treasury System, SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)
- Networking (IT): Cisco Switches and Routers, Fortigate Firewalls, LAN/WAN Routing
- Hardware: Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell PowerVault SAN Storage
- Data analysis - PC/Laptop support (formatting, imaging, etc)
- Experience of writing and updating IT policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Needs experience in delivering projects in a fast-paced environment
This is a 3 days in the office position at the Client's offices in Central London. This is a FTC position for 6 months with a salary of circa £45K - £55K.
