IT Infrastructure Support Analyst

Our Client a bank based in Central London is looking to recruit a young super talented individual as an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst.

You will have at least to 5 years hands-on experience within IT Infrastructure ideally from the Banking or Financial arena.

Must have in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting experience with Windows, Office365 and ideally Banking applications and conferencing applications.

You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure for the Branch and to provide IT support to staff.

To assist in the response to service outages and other IT related problems as well as maintenance and upkeep of for security of the systems in place.

Business Performance duties

? Familiarity with core banking systems or financial applications

? Provide first/Second level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

? Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, Phones/Mobiles and other IT equipment.

? Laptop imaging experience needed (WIM USB, MDT, SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot) ??????\\\” Image creation, management and deployments.

? Assist in user account management in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Teams, and banking systems

? Networking Fundamentals ??????\\\” DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN.

? Understanding of cybersecurity measures.

? Perform routine system backups and assist with disaster recovery operations.

? Monitor system performance and report abnormalities to senior IT staff

? Assist with software updates, patches, and antivirus management.

? Exposure to following Fortinet solutions ??????\\\” fortigate, forticlient VPN, Symantec Endpoint Protection & Encryption, Bitlocker, SentinelOne, Cisco Switches, Tenable, Group policy, ManageEngine, Nagios, MFA

? Document IT procedures and maintain technical documentation relating to role.

Technical/Functional skills

– Proficient in common operating systems (Linux ??????\\\” Redhat & Ubuntu, Windows OS ??????\\\”Win10 &11)

– Software proficiency ??????\\\” 0365, Sharepoint and Teams ??????\\\” Banking Applications

– Networking (IT)

– Proficient in programming languages & Automation (good to have)

– Project management

– Data analysis

– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

– AV Support

– Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals

The Client is based in Central London.

This is a 12 month FTC position which is hybrid with at least 3 days a week in the office.

The salary for this position will be circa £35K.
