You will be a key figure in assisting and driving the reputation for first-class Technical credibility with customers. Meeting customer expectations by maintaining exemplary standards of food safety and quality and helping to develop a highly effective technical team.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Ensuring the site is audit & visit ready at all times
- Deputising for the Head of Technical
- Acting as liaison point for customers and key technical reviews
- Leading the deployment and use of the quality management system
- Direct management, mentoring and development of the Technical team
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Experience in a Technical role at a Food Manufacturing site
- Team Management experience – need to be able to lead and inspire
- BRC audit experience
- Ideally have experience working with the major Retailers
- HACCP and Food Safety Level 3
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good verbal and written communication
