Join Our Growing Team at Jarvie Plant! We are excited to offer the opportunity for a motivated Hire Controller to join our Plant Operations Team based at our Glasgow Depot (G51 3RN). In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting customers, coordinating hires, and ensuring our equipment is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. Your work directly contributes to Jarvie Plant’s reputation for reliable, high-quality hire solutions and excellent customer service.

How This Role Supports The Delivery Of Hire Solutions

Our Hire Controllers play a key role in delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency. Your work ensures our customers receive the equipment they need, safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for hire enquiries, providing professional and friendly support to customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinating the full hire process from quotation and booking to scheduling deliveries and processing off-hires.
  • Supporting operational efficiency by maintaining accurate hire documentation and system records.
  • Collaborating with workshop, transport, and depot teams to maximise fleet utilisation and minimise downtime.
  • Managing logistics to ensure equipment movements are planned, communicated, and completed on time.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
