Role Purpose
The Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and Non-Exec Board plays a pivotal role in The Jarrold Group, providing high level support to ensure smooth and efficient running of business priorities. The successful candidate will act as a trusted and reliable partner, managing competing demands, coordinating leadership activities and ensuring alignment across the business. The role requires excellent judgement, discretion and the confidence to proactively operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a role for someone who is highly organised, emotionally intelligent and commercially aware. They will be close to the centre of decision-making, helping create the conditions for senior leaders to focus on the work that matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support
- Managing diaries and making a judgement on managing competing priorities
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring effective use of time
- Prepare high quality briefing materials and supporting documentation
- Track key actions and decisions, ensuring follow-up
- Organise leadership and key business meetings
- Prepare agendas, papers and materials in advance
- Capture and track actions, ensuring accountability and follow-through
- Act as a central coordination point for the CEO and Group Chair
- Support the alignment of priorities across the senior leadership team
- Provide organisational and coordination support for key projects and initiatives
- Assist in connecting teams and ensuring progress across each business area
- Support effective flow of information between the CEO and the leadership team.
- Ensure key messages and updates are communicated clearly and appropriately
- Act as a point of contact for advisers, partners and stakeholders
- Coordinate external meetings and communications on behalf of the CEO and Group
