We are seeking a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Jarrolds Letheringsett, a growing and exciting food‑led business with a focus on seasonal, local ingredients and high‑quality dishes. This is a unique opportunity for a chef who thrives on menu development and enjoys collaborating closely with our onsite butcher to create exceptional menus and daily specials that celebrate the best of the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the kitchen, including menu creation, specials, and recipe development with a focus on local, seasonal produce.
  • Work alongside our in‑house butcher, deli team, retail manager and general manager, to develop innovative dishes that highlight quality meats and local suppliers.
  • Lead and manage a small, dedicated kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Deliver consistently excellent food with an emphasis on fresh, made‑from‑scratch dishes.
  • Maintain efficient kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, costings, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement processes that enhance kitchen efficiency and sustainability.
  • Work closely with the wider management team to drive the business forward.
