Applications are invited from suitably experienced SCPHN-qualified Health Visitors or School Nurses with an interest in Safeguarding to join the Multi-Agency Support Hub (MASH) as its Health Representative on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

You will work as part of a dynamic multi-agency team, assessing referrals regarding children aged 0-18 years received by MASH.

The role is instrumental in sharing and analysing health information to make decisions within the team, then feeding back to health agencies involved with the child or young person and their family.

Daily, you will collaborate with the multi-agency team, collating and sharing health information for referrals regarding children from across the Bailiwick. After collecting health information from various sources, you will analyse, discuss, and share outcomes to safeguard and promote the welfare of the child.

Management and safeguarding supervision are provided, along with ongoing access to training and development, which is expected to be accessed regularly.

The Guernsey Band 6 salary ranges from Β£46,152 to Β£62,310, plus an annual bonus of Β£1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements (36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/Public Holidays). Annual leave starts at 36 days, up to 42 days, with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Person requirements include:
– SCPHN-qualified School Nurse or Health Visitor with full NMC registration.
– At least two years UK experience working with children and families in the community, including inter-agency working.
– A sound understanding of safeguarding issues from a health perspective and child protection.
– Current driving license.
