We are seeking experienced Care Workers with a genuine commitment to working with Service Users who have complex physical care needs. The role is based in Southampton, Eastleigh, and Winchester, Hampshire.
Responsibilities: You will provide full personal care and practical daily support, including activities of daily living, emotional and psychological support, managing appointments and medication, arranging trips, communicating with family, and maintaining safety. The service user requires 24‑hour support with a team of day and night care workers overseen by a registered nurse.
Salary: £12.82 to £13.65 per hour (£25,100 to £26,700 per year) based on experience for a 37.5‑hour week. We welcome full‑time, part‑time, or flexible‑hour applicants.
This is a complex care provider led by senior mental health and general nurses. We are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission and registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales.
Person Requirements:
- At least 12 months care experience
- Flexible, adaptable and confident working without supervision; calm under pressure
- Current driving licence and access to a vehicle
- A commitment to a flexible approach to meet service needs
- Desire to work as part of a team committed to person‑centred care
- At least six months right to work in the UK status, not requiring a certificate of sponsorship (CoS)
Additional Notes:
- A certificate of sponsorship may be offered with this post subject to a 6‑month probation period, during which time you should have your own right to work status such as student, graduate, or dependant visa
- We are not able to switch sponsorship at commencement of employment
- Staff accommodation is not available, but we can help signpost to local accommodation options if relocation is required
