Community Mental Health Nurse Older Adult

Applications are invited from suitably-experienced Mental Health Nurses to join the Older Adult Community Mental Health team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey , in the Channel Islands. The Older Adult Community Team comprises a MDT of Band 6 CPNs, OT and Social Workers. As the Band 6 CPN you will manage a caseload of between 15-25 service-users supported by senior Support Workers. The Service is Consultant-led, focusing on admissions prevention for over 65s and GP and Memory Clinic dementia referrals of all ages and is supported byfour in-patient centres and Day Services. Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The current Band 6 salary range is £46,152 to £62,310 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave. The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
