Marketing Manager Birmingham area Hybrid working c£40,000 – £50,000 DOE This is an exciting, newly created Marketing Manager role joining a successful, established business with exciting and ambitious plans for growth. As part of a newly formed Marketing, Digital and E-commerce team, you'll take ownership of marketing for a growing, multi-site B2B and B2C supplier. It's a broad, hands-on role covering everything from promotional campaigns and new site launches to CRM, email, social media, print and customer acquisition. There's plenty of autonomy. You'll be encouraged to bring ideas to the table, challenge how things are done and really make your mark, while working closely with an approachable, down-to-earth Marketing Director and a talented team of marketing, digital and e-commerce peers. The department is also embracing AI in a big way. You might already be highly skilled in modern AI marketing tools, automation and workflows, or you may have a good grounding and be excited by the opportunity to develop this further. Either way, curiosity and a genuine interest in how AI can make marketing smarter, faster and more effective will be important. The role You'll take ownership of a varied marketing plan supporting multiple business locations and online channels. Your remit will include: * Planning and delivering promotional, seasonal and commercially focused marketing campaigns. * Supporting new site openings and local marketing initiatives. * Managing email, CRM, customer retention and reactivation campaigns. * Overseeing organic social content and local demand generation. * Managing brochures, leaflets, POS and other print activity from brief through to delivery. * Working closely with operational and sales teams to understand customers and what drives sales. * Tracking campaign performance, budgets, leads and commercial results. * Using AI and automation tools to streamline marketing activity, improve efficiency and increase output. This isn't a role where you'll spend all week sitting behind a desk. You'll regularly visit different business locations, engage with the people closest to the customer and use those insights to shape marketing activity. What we're looking for You'll be a commercially minded, hands-on marketer who enjoys taking ownership, delivering results and getting things done. You'll bring: * Experience in a broad marketing role, within a multi-site trade, retail, merchant or similar commercially driven environment. * A good understanding of B2B and B2C marketing, customer acquisition and retention. * Practical experience across a mix of CRM/email marketing, campaigns, social media, print and local marketing. * Confidence interpreting marketing data, measuring performance and understanding commercial impact. * Experience using modern marketing platforms and technology, with an interest in developing your AI and automation capabilities. * A proactive, organised and self-sufficient approach, with strong communication skills and attention to detail. What's on offer? You'll be joining a growing team where there's real scope to influence how the marketing function develops. You'll have access to paid AI tools and training, supportive leadership and the freedom to test ideas and make decisions without unnecessary layers of sign-off. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to be trusted to get on with their job and is excited by the prospect of helping shape a modern, forward-thinking marketing function within an ambitious and successful business. Interested? Please apply with an up-to-date CV that clearly demonstrates your relevant marketing skills and experience, including details of the marketing platforms, systems, AI and digital tools you've worked with
