Working on conjunction with a Boarding School in the Oxford area, we are looking to recruit a Chef to join the current team on a permanent basis
The main responsibilities of the role include
β Support the kitchen team through preparation of nutritious meals
β Make sure that Food Safety, Hygiene and H&S are all adhered to at all times
β Support with menu development
β Help manage stock levels
β Help manage costs to maximize profitability
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
β Ideally have previous experience of working on a school kitchen environment
β experience around fresh ingredients and nutritious menus
β Strong working knowledge of compliance Food Safety and Hygiene
The salary for this role is up to Β£27,000, working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week and will require an enhanced DBS
